- White Chocolate-Macadamia Fudge - Southern Living (2001)
White chocolate, toasted macadamias and orange essence make this fudge fabulous.
White Chocolate-Macadamia Fudge ingredients
Makes 2-lbs.3 cups white chocolate morsels (18-ozs)
1.5 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp grated orange rind
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, toasted
Line a (9-inch) pan with aluminum foil; lightly grease foil.
Melt chocolate morsels
In a heavy saucepan, cook first three ingredients (chocolate morsels through milk) over Medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth, about ten to eleven (10 to 11) minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in next three ingredients (orange rind through salt) until blended. Then, stir in nuts. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Refridgerate and serve
Cover and chill until firm, about four (4) hours, before cutting into squares.
Store, covered, in refrigerator.
