Cranberry Meade Applesauce ingredients4 Granny Smith apples
3/4 cup whole cranberries
1/2 cup Bunratty Meade (readily available in USA - visit Bunratty Meade)
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
DirectionsWash, core and quarter apples. Combine apples with cranberries in saucepan; add Meade and water. Cover and cook over Low heat until apples are mushy, stirring often to prevent sticking.
Add sugar and cook further until sugar is absorbed. Remove from heat; cool for about 30 minutes.
Blend in processor about 10 seconds. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
