Sour Cream Marinated Chicken Breasts | Cotton Belles Delectables




Nell's Sour Cream Marinated Chicken Breasts ingredients
Makes 10 servings
Marinade
1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp pepper (I combine granulated white pepper and lemon-pepper)

Casserole
5 whole chicken breasts, split
Salt (I omit)
Bread crumbs
1/2 cup melted margarine
1/4 cup melted shortening


Directions
Marinate for twelve hours
Combine all of the marinade ingredients; blend well. Sprinkle chicken with salt and coat with sour cream mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least twelve (12) hours.


Bake
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease (13- x 9- 2-inch) baking dish.

Remove chicken from the marinade and coat with bread crumbs; place in a single-layer in the prepared baking dish.

Combine the margarine and shortening; pour half  over the chicken. Bake in preheated oven for forty-five (45) minutes.

Remove from oven; pour over remaining margarine mixture and bake for fifteen (15) minutes more.


Serve warm
