Makes 4 servings
1.5-lbs round steak2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 medium green bell peppers, thinly-sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp beef flavored bouillon granules
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp water
For serving:
Hot cooked rice

Directions
To meat in skillet, add the next 8 ingredients (tomatoes through ginger); cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 55 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combine cornstarch and water and stir well; gradually stir into meat mixture. Then simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve warm over rice.
