Butterscotch-Bourbon Sauce ingredients
Makes 2 cups1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup whipping cream
3 Tbsp bourbon
DirectionsIn a large heavy saucepan over Medium heat, cook brown sugar and butter, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes or until butter melts and mixture is smooth.
Gradually stir in whipping cream. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly; boil, stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in bourbon. Cool for 20 minutes.
