Shirley's Chocolate Cherry Cordial Drops

This recipe is from our Christmas 1990 Cookie Exchange.

Shirley's Chocolate Cherry Cordial Drops ingredients
Makes 36 cookies
1 egg
2 tsp water
1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries, well drained
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1.5 cups chopped pecans

For adults, test a batch with Brandied Cherries or  Luxardo Cherries.

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a large bowl, combine cookie mix, egg and water; stir until thoroughly blended.

Stir in cherries and coconut and shape into thirty-six (36) balls. Roll in nuts and place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375ºF until cookies are set and lightly browned, about eleven or twelve (11 or 12) minutes.

Cool one (1) minute and remove to cooling rack.

Dessert > Cookies
