Blue Poppy Wafers | Bay Tables

Blue Poppy Wafers ingredients
Yield: 4 dozen
8-oz crumbled blue cheese, softened
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1-1/3 cups flour
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/4 tsp cayenne

Beat the blue cheese and margarine in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

Add the flour, poppy seeds and cayenne. Beat until a soft dough forms. On a sheet of plastic wrap, shape into a log 2-inches in diameter. Fold plastic wrap around the log. Refrigerate for two (2) hours.

Cut the log into into 1/8-inch slices and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325ºF for twenty-five (25) minutes, or until crisp. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
