Blueberry Vinegar

As a serving suggestion, add this vinegar to olive oil and dress a salad of  pears, Gorgonzola, walnuts, and mixed greens.

Blueberry Vinegar 1 ingredients
Makes 20-oz
1/2 cup canned blueberries
1.5 cups white wine vinegar 
1/4 cup reserved blueberry syrup


Drain blueberries, reserving 1/4 cup of the syrup. Spoon berries into a decorative bottle with an airtight seal. Using a funnel, pour over vinegar and 1/4 cup of the syrup.

Wipe away any spills from the bottle; seal and label. Store in a cool dark place at room temperature for at least 1 week before using.
