Frozen Pistachio Pie
Makes 8 servings
Crust1.5 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers
3 Tbsp sugar
1/3 cup Land O' Lakes® Butter, melted
Filling
1/3 cup chopped salted pistachios, reserve 2 Tbsp
1-quart (4 cups) vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1 (3.4-ounce) package instant pistachio-flavored pudding and pie filling
1 drop green food color, if desired
Topping
1/2 cup chocolate fudge topping, warmed
Directions
Prepare crust
Heat oven to 375°F. Stir together all crust ingredients in medium bowl. Press on bottom and up sides of 9-inch glass pie pan. Bake for eight to ten (8 to 10) minutes. Cool fifteen (15) minutes.
Prepare filling
Meanwhile, stir together pistachios, ice cream, pudding and food color in large bowl. Spoon mixture into cooled crust. Cover; freeze until firm, at least eight (8) hours, or overnight.
Serving
Just before serving, drizzle 1 Tbsp chocolate fudge topping over each serving and sprinkle with reserved pistachios.
