Sweet and Sour Green Beans ingredients
2 cans French-style green beans, drained and rinsed1 onion, sliced in thin rings
6 slices cooked crisp bacon, crumbled (reserve drippings)
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 sugar
Sweet and Sour Green Beans Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.Place green beans and onions in shallow casserole.
Mix bacon drippings, vinegar and sugar. Pour over vegetables. Bake uncovered for one to two (1 to 2) hours at 350ºF.
Sprinkle bacon on top. Serve warm or cold.
