Lemon Sirloin

Lemon Sirloin ingredients
Makes 4 - 6 servings
4-LB sirloin steak, 1-1/2 to 2-inches thick
Lemon Marinade

Green onion tips, sliced


Score fat edges of meat and place in shallow nonmetal dish. Pour Lemon Marinade over steak. Cover and marinate at room temperature for three (3) hours or in refrigerator for six (6) hours. Turn occasionally.

Remove steak from marinade. Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess marinade.

Grill 5-inches from hot coals, brushing frequently with remaining marinade. For rare, cook each side twelve (12) minutes.

Sprinkle with green onion tops and serve.

I believe this recipe is from a women's magazine published during the late 1970s or early 1980s; however there is no notation on the handwritten recipe card.
